Jnan Vikas Mandal was established in 1974 as an educational Trust registered under BPT Act 1950 No. BPT – F – 3574. With a deep rooted desire and a strong commitment to provide value based education which would also enhance the employability of the students. The Mandal started an English Medium School which is the first of its kind in a remote suburb Kalwa, Thane where population was predominantly Koli, which had only vernacular medium school. The Mandal is committed to cater to the academic needs of locals who are of middle & lower middle income group with majority being first generation learners.
