A few words to the students

I am proud to be a member of the prestigious family 'JNAN VIKAS MANDAL,' which is shortly celebrating its Golden Jubilee. We should be thankful to our founder members and seniors who dedicated their valuable years of life honestly and sincerely to establish the JVM Trust 50 years ago with the sole but noble objective of promoting educational activities in the then rural area of Kalwa.

The founders began the school with a small room made of brick walls and an asbestos roof. The number of students were few, but due to the high quality of education, the school quickly gained popularity and started to prosper. It gained goodwill in comparison to other educational institutions in the area. In the Kalwa area, our school stood at the top of the list, thanks to the sincere efforts of the teaching staff supported by the then management.

Gradually, JVM prospered in the field of education, leading to the expansion of higher education in Horizon at Airoli by opening a degree College offering Commerce, Science, Arts, Computer Science, and various other professional courses. We achieved this due to the active participation of all our eminent teachers. For students, teachers are not just their educators; these teachers are also students themselves. In one landmark judgment, the then Hon’ble Chief Justice of India said, 'We, the judges, learn from advocates.' This is true not only in the legal field but in all professions. Doctors learn from patients, professionals learn from clients, and we, as elders, learn from children, and so on.

Friends, we have no shortage of brilliance. Our students have achieved goals in all fields of their academic careers. They have won gold medals in District, State, national, and international competitions. The annual reports presented by the Hon’ble Principal showcase our students' great achievements in all competitions. Our students are competent and capable of accepting challenges, and they have achieved success.

Friends, school and college life never come back in life. Enjoy it. What you learn in school and college will make you successful in your future career. I wish you all success in your future life. God Bless you.
